Jen

Jennifer Hauschulz, LVT, Deputy to the Director of Medical Services
Jen graduated from New Hampshire Community Technical College in May 2001 with an Associate Degree in Veterinary Technology. She was employed at an animal hospital in Concord, NH, where she met and established a great working rapport with Dr. Jen!

Jen finds her job at Lakeside Animal Hospital very rewarding. She loves to educate clients in the care of their pets and helping to treat them throughout their lives. Her greatest satisfaction comes from participating in the care of critically sick pets and helping them recover back to health so they can be reunited with their families.

Jen lives in Penacook with her husband Rene, children Rob and Rhiannon and their pets Abby (black lab), Taz (Siamese cat), and Orion (her son's leopard gecko). In her free time, she enjoys reading, hiking, gardening, listening to music and spending time with her family.

Becky and Family

Becky Fletcher, Veterinary Technician, Receptionist, Director of Public Contact
Rebecca Fletcher has worked in the animal field for several years. She started working in a small veterinary practice as an assistant and gradually increased her knowledge over the years with "hands on" experience to become the technician she is today. Four of those years were at an animal rescue league where she was in charge of the overall care and health of all the animals waiting to be adopted. She continues her career in the veterinary field with guidance from Dr. Jen and continuing education courses.

Rebecca currently resides in Franklin with her husband and furry, four-legged children; three dogs: Sammie, a lab-cross, Sarge, a malamute-cross, Coco, a pitbull-cross and six cats: Simon, Markie, Nixie, Tilly, King Louie and Klein. Can you tell she worked for an animal rescue organization?!?! And, don't forget about a turtle named Dudette.

Althea
Althea and Murray

Althea Caveney, Executive Director, Director of Administration, and Receptionist
Althea has over 13 years experience in the veterinary field as Head Receptionist. This also includes 2 years of practice management. She completed her management classes at VPS (Veterinary Practice Solutions) in Vancouver Canada and is continuing to educate in practice management through VPS and CE courses. She has been employed at LSAH before they officially opened January 15, 2007. She can’t imagine working any place else. The Team is extremely friendly, family like and fun. What makes LSAH truly amazing? The clients and their pets. Educating the clients, meeting their babies and helping guide them through their pets life are just some of Althea’s favorite daily responsibilities.

Althea’s interests include spending time with her daughter Emma and her four legged son Murray, family events, traveling, photography, and watching Emma participate in all her sporting events.

Althea invites you to become a client at LSAH. She would love you to experience a fun family atmosphere and receive useful educational information through the Team at LSAH. Our goal is keep your pets happy & healthy and to educate you on how to accomplish that.

Brittany volunteered at animal shelters while in California and still goes to the local animal shelters to walk the dogs and spend time with them. She has owned many different animals, from a rat to a horse. She is now enrolled in a veterinary assistant program and plans to eventually go to school to become a vet technician or a dog groomer. She also has been dog/pet sitting since last year and she absolutely loves it.

Geoffrey N. Clark, DVM, Diplomate, ACVS - Veterinary Surgery of New England
Dr. Clark operates a mobile surgical practice and comes into our hospital to perform orthopedic procedures such as leg fractures and cruciate ligament tear repairs. Being a mobile surgeon he eliminates the need for patients who would otherwise need to travel for a referral. He's also one of the best orthopedic surgeons in New Hampshire.

Dr. Clark offers laser surgery techniques for procedures such as stenotic nares, soft palate resections and everted saccules (on some of the smaller, brachycephalic breeds like Pugs or Bulldogs). Dr. Clark has performed several ear resection cases at LSAH (dogs or cats that have chronic ear infections). He can do more extensive surgeries than Dr. Jen. If there is a necessary surgery that is more complicated than Dr. Jen feels comfortable handling, we call Dr. Clark, a Board Certified Surgeon.

Dr. Clark is married and has two daughters, Olivia and Juliette.
